Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Processing vendor invoices, tracking items through to payment
- Maintaining and reconciling accounts payable records
- Communicating with vendors regarding any questions or requests
- Assisting with month-end close by supplying reports and information for journal entries
Background Expected of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable role
